We recently stayed at Hostal La Concha in Somo for our surfing holiday. We stayed for a few days and found the hotel to be in a great location, just a short 10-minute walk from the beach. The private balcony in our room was a bonus, and despite facing the main road, the noise was minimal at night. The room itself was well-equipped, although a hairdryer was not provided. The owner was friendly and always willing to help. there were plenty of dining options and supermarkets within walking distance. a comfortable and convenient stay!

Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The rooms at Hostal La Concha are simply decorated but cozy, making you feel right at home. The private bathrooms are a plus, with deep soaking bathtubs and complimentary toiletries. I loved the twin room with a balcony, it was a great spot to relax and enjoy the view. The room service offered by the hostal is a convenient option for guests. Each light room includes a wardrobe to keep your belongings organized.

Personally, I found the flat-screen televisions in the rooms unnecessary.

The room was huge, unbelievably clean, with a spacious bath. The wi-fi was super fast! Checking in was a breeze and the receptionist spoke fluent English! The shared space had a microwave and a coffee machine for everyone to use. The hostess even gave us the ferry schedule for the next day.

Could have had a more powerful light in the ceiling of the bedroom. The room was a little dark at night, or maybe just an additional light near the bed?
